Support
Where to find help with Unhandled, what to include when you ask, and how to keep up with changes.
This page is for anyone who is stuck after reading the docs. It lists what Unhandled offers today and how to give whoever helps you enough to work with.
Before you ask
Most problems are covered already:
- No data, or data in the wrong place: Troubleshooting.
- How organizations, services, environments and the DSN relate: Core concepts.
- Agent options and their defaults: AdonisJS configuration.
- Plans, trial and retention: Pricing and usage.
Help in the app
The Help menu at the bottom of the sidebar has Give feedback, which sends a message to your organization's admins, and Documentation, which opens these docs.
Unhandled does not have a support email address or a chat community yet. The GitHub project is the place to raise bugs and questions.
What to include
A report that someone can act on without a round trip has:
- the version of
@unhandled/agent-adonisjs(or the SDK you use) from your lockfile, - your language, framework and SDK versions,
- your
config/unhandled.ts, with the DSN removed, - the console output after setting
debug: true, which prints every span the agent creates, - any warning with code
UNHANDLED_INVALID_DSN, or the status and message the ingest endpoint returned, - the organization, project and environment you expected the data in.
Never paste a full DSN or API key into a report. The key in the DSN is a credential. If one leaks, rotate it from Settings, Services right away, with Stop it now as the grace period; see API keys.
